German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Saturday she will campaign for further investment in the renewable energy sector during her trip to Japan next week.
Merkel is scheduled to visit Japan on Monday and Tuesday, holding talks with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and Emperor Akihito, dpa reported.
