A mild earthquake with a magnitude of 3 on the Richter scale shook portions of central Oklahoma Tuesday morning, officials said. The U.S. Geological Survey said the shaking was centered about 8 miles north of Luther, Okla., and about 29 miles northeast of Oklahoma City. WKTV, Oklahoma City, said people reported feeling movement as far away as Stillwater and Covington. No injuries or damage were reported.
