A moderate earthquake, measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale, hit Seram in Indonesia at 11.22 am today, the Malaysian Meteorological Department said.The quake’s epicentre was 186km northeast of Ambon, Indonesia, and 1,513km southeast of Semporna, Sabah, it said in a statement carried by BERNAMA news agency.The quake did not pose any tsunami threat, it added.
