A 5.0-magnitude earthquake hit Yunlong County in southwest China's Yunnan Province on Wednesday morning, said the China Earthquake Networks Center.

    The epicenter was monitored at 26.1 degrees north latitude and 99.53 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 15 kilometers, according to China's (Xinhua) News Agency. There were no reports of damage or casualties caused by the quake.
