An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale jolted Santa Cruz Islands at 13:09 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said. The epicenter, with a depth of 19.20 km, was initially determined to be at 12.5049 degrees south latitude and 166.4116 degrees east longitude.
