Traffic was backed up from Qurum Heights to Ruwi after a truck flipped over on Sultan Qaboos Highway earlier on Tuesday (March 28, 2017).

According to the Royal Oman Police, the incident took place at around lunchtime in Saih Al Maleh. The only casualty was the truck driver who was taken to Khoula Hospital with injuries. The vehicle was transported by a police tow truck as thousands of drivers waited all the way from OmanOil at Qurum Heights to Ruwi.
