An earthquake measuring 4.3 on Richter scale hit Larijan district and its vicinity in northern province of Mazandaran Sunday morning, Iran’s news agency (IRNA) reported today.
The Seismological Center affiliated to Geophysics Institute of Tehran University says the epicenter of the earthquake was recorded at 35.95 degrees northern latitude and 52.30 eastern longitude in Gazanak district.
There is no immediate report on possible damage caused by the tremor.
