An earthquake measuring 3.1 on Richter scale hit the area located between the capital, Beirut, and Ajloon in northern Lebanon early today. The National Center for Geophysics, an affiliate of the National Council for Scientific Research, said the quake, which was felt in the neighboring areas, has not caused any harm.
