The three-day consultative meeting of Asia-Pacific on Intergovernmental Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services started work here in Tehran on Saturday. The meeting is organized by Iran\'s Department of Environment in cooperation with the ECO Institute of Environmental Science and Technology (ECO-IEST). Some 70 representatives from 42 world countries are participating in the three-day event. The meeting is aimed at providing information on the IPBES process, present the agenda of the second session of a plenary meeting and facilitate an exchange of views among state stakeholders.
