Cairo - MENA
Water quality in the Rosetta branch of the Nile is normal, the environment ministry said on Sunday.
Samples have been tested by the ministry's crisis management department following a complaint of fish deaths in the waterway.
The ministry received the complaint on September 13.
The fish deaths had been initially blamed for high ammonia levels.
Measures were then taken to improve the water quality in the branch.
The tested samples showed better water quality now, said the environment ministry
