After enjoying a relatively warm weather during the last few days, New Yorkers were hit by another snowstorm on Monday morning, and it is expected that 10 inche snow will fall in parts of the tri-state area - New York, New Jersey and Philadelphis - by the end of the day.The National Weather Service cautioned New Yorkers and most of the residents in neighbouring States not to leave home unless in emergencies. The storm is expected to wrap up by the end of the day.New York's Department of Sanitation issued a snow alert for today as three to five inches are expected to fall in the city.Many of the passengers who flew to New Jersey to watch the Super Bowl XLVIII yesterday are stranded, as their flights were either delayed or canceled.Some 260 flights were reported canceled at Newark's airport in New Jersey and over 165 at LaGuardia airport in New York. Today's snowstorm is the first of three expected in the city this week.
