An earthquake measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale jolted Negros, Cebu region, in the Philippines on Monday, the US Geological Survey said. The epicenter, with a depth of 33.00 km, was initially determined to be at 10.0310 degrees north latitude and 123.1750 degrees east longitude.
