A relatively strong tremor measuring 4.5 on Richter scale jolted surrounding areas of Bandar Anzali, a port city on the Caspian Sea, in the northern province of Gilan in Iran on Saturday night. According to the report of seismography center affiliated to Tehran University Geophysics Institute, the epicenter of the termor was at 37.68 degrees latitude and 49.71 degrees longitude, Iranian news agency (IRNA) reported Sunday. There in no immediate report on possible casualties or damage.
