Rain fell in most Syrian provinces where the heaviest amounts of rainfalls, during the past 24 hours till 07:00 o’clock today’s morning, reached: 45mm in Homs province and 43mm in Quneitra province.
The rainfalls amounts in some Syrian provinces, according the rain bulletin issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reform reached: 29mm in Damascus and its countryside, 23mm in Sweida, 11mm in Daraa, 25mm in Hama, 21mm in Tartous, 18,4 in Lattakia, 5mm in Aleppo and 23,5 in Hasaka.
Meanwhile, the Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that temperatures will remain slightly below average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern airstreams in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
The Department added that the skies will be partly cloudy in general; local rain showers are expected to develop on the coastal mountains and al-Jazira.
The weather will be cold at night, according to the department, warning against the formation of fog in some inland areas.
The wind will be northwesterly of moderate speed, while the sea waves will be moderate in amplitude.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 31/05, Daraa 14/06, Homs 11/03, Hama 13/04, Lattakia 16/08, Aleppo 09/03 and Deir Ezzor 11/07
