Ten of the 77 provinces in Thailand are currently hit by flooding, the authorities said on Wednesday. The flood is affecting more than 157,000 people from more than 63,000 households, the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department reported. The department said there was flooding in 1,333 villages in 31 districts of the 10 provinces, which are mainly located in the central and eastern parts of the country.
