A tremor measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale shook Faryab and its vicinity in the southeastern province of Kerman Tuesday morning. According to the seismological base of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, the tremor occurred at 08:16 hours local time (0346 GMT). The quake was epicentered in an area located at 28.08 degrees latitude and 52.29 degrees longitude. The quake has caused no damage, head of provincial disaster management center Mohsen Salehi said. He added that the quake was also felt in several other parts of the province including Kahnouj.
