Sweeping wildfires in Russia's Yakutia have doubled in size over the past 24 hours, officials said according to Russian news agency (Itar-Tass). A number of ten wildfires swept across 298.5 hectares, five of them across122 hectares were put out. A total number of 215 forest fires have been reported since the start of the fire season in Russia this year.
