Beijing - XINHUA
The Ancient Bell Museum in Beijing's Dazhong Temple reopened to the public on Oct 16, after two years of renovations that cost over 30 million yuan ($4.9 million).
Twenty-three temple bells that used to be displayed on the ground have now been hung up for better observation.
The museum, a key national cultural relics protection unit, has about 400 cultural relics including six state-level pieces. Custom-made glockenspiels from the Netherlands will also be displayed in the museum's special exhibition hall.
The museum is closed on Mondays, and tickets cost 20 yuan each. The first 200 visitors can visit the museum for free on Wednesdays.
