The French pictorial art was in the spotlight on Saturday evening, in the Saladin Gallery in Sidi Bou Said (Tunis northern suburb), with the inauguration of a double exhibition including lithographies of visual artist Michel Henry and pastel drawings of Laurent Havas.Through his works, Mr. Michel Henry pays tribute to Paris and its monuments with lithographies with suggestive names as "Montmartre," "Pyramide du Louvre," "Notre dame," "Saint Germain" and "l'Arc de Triomphe." Impressionist painter Laurent Havas displays in this exhibition 20 pastel drawings and two canvas paintings on Tunisia named "Palm trees in Bizerte," "Gammarth," "Raoued" and "Cap Negro." The inauguration ceremony of the exhibition which is due to last till next November 23, was attended by France's ambassador to Tunisia Boris Boillon.
