Don't take your position at work for granted. Although you're highly skilled and well liked, this doesn't preclude you from the rules. Show up when you're scheduled to be on the job and dispatch your duties as cheerfully as possible. Demanding special privileges will make colleagues resentful. Do your best to behave like a team player. Look to friends and family to give the tender loving care you crave. Your professional life isn't the place to fill this emotional void.
