Even if little else in the way of activity is taking place in a close relationship, there's lots of financial action. A partner is spending money as if it is going out of fashion. An unexpected bonus or legacy has made it easier to afford a few luxuries. Even so, don't encourage each other to waste this cash on flashy status symbols.
