Helping a friend will be fulfilling. You're able to go the extra mile for a loved one who isn't in good health. By getting your loved one the help they need, their quality of life will improve dramatically. You do have a selfish motive with this crusade. In the past, you were forced to fend for yourself with few resources. Now you are in a position to protect someone who is in a similar position. This will be both empowering and therapeutic.
