Be very wary about making public statements. Unloading on social media will come back to haunt you. When in doubt, wait a full day before responding to a provocative comment. It's always best to give a noncommittal response, even when you're justifiably angry. Simply saying 'that's interesting' to an insulting remark will take the wind out of a bully's sails. People will admire your ability to maintain grace under fire. You have so many more important things to do than argue with trolls.
