Tushek Renovatio T 500 Slovenia - Arabstoday The Tushek Renovatio T 500 is a lightweight V8-powered sports car which has been developed in Slovenia. The company was founded by racing driver Aljosa Tusek, who gathered together a number of engineers and fabricators to build the car from scratch. The car is built around a chrome-moly steel tube chassis, while the bodywork consists of 1/3 carbon fiber paneling, and 2/3 composite (probably fiber glass) panels. The engine is a 4.2 litre V8 taken from the Audi RS4. In the Tushek Renovatio T 500 this unit develops 450 horsepower @ 7,900 rpm, and 428 Nm (316 lb-ft) of torque @ 3,200 rpm. With a power to weight ration of 2.42 kg/hp the car can hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.7 seconds and continue on to a top speed of 193 mph.In addition to the custom chassis, composite bodywork, and potent V8 engine, the Tushek Renovatio T 500 is equipped with adjustable ride-height suspension, ventilated carbon ceramic brakes both front and rear, TRW electro-hydraulic power steering, HANS compatible carbon fiber seats, and four point harnesses. With that sort of gear it’s clear this car was designed for the track as well as the road. However Renovatio T 500 isn’t all about Spartan lightweight design. Standard features include satnav, mp3 player, air conditioning, Bluetooth, alarm, keyless go, and leather and Alcantara suede upholstery. The options list includes ‘special leather’, fitted luggage, a titanium exhaust, rear view camera, heated seats, or a track day kit.Tushek only plan to manufacture 30 examples of the Renovatio T 500, and they’re also working on a racing edition called the Renovatio T 500 R.According to the company’s website, in 2013 they will unveil an all-new car called the Forego T 700 – a car advertised as being lighter, faster and more powerful.
