Algerian actor Nabil Asil received, Sunday, the best actor award for his role in “La preuve” (The Proof), directed by his compatriot Ammor Hakkar, at the 15th Ourense International Film Festival in Spain, said organizers.
This award, the second for Nabil Asli for this same role after having been awarded best actor at the second Maghreb Cinema Festival of Algiers, placed equal with Rachid El Ouali, the actor  obtained it for the “wisdom generated by his acting,” according to the jury of the festival.
In “La preuve,” the young actor plays the role of Ali, a taxi driver from Khenchela, brought to sacrifice his family happiness because of his shame to confess to them his incapacity to have children.
Created in 1996, the Ourense International Film Festival presents every year, a selection of movies from around the world.
