The gala of the \"Year of Turkish Culture in China\" has been held in Chinese city of Shanghai on Monday evening. The gala night which was held at the Shanghai Oriental Art Centre hosted many Turkish and foreign guests. Elements which belong to Turkish and Chinese cultures were presented at the gala. A Turkish dance team of 140-member performed during the event. Last Thursday, Turkish Culture and Tourism Minister Omer Celik inaugurated the \"Year of Turkish Culture in China\" in Beijing with his Chinese counterpart Cai Wu.
