Local residents participate in the annual Voodoo Festival in Quidah, Benin, Jan. 10, 2015. Having been instituted in 1994, this festival which is always celebrated on the 10th of January each year, is dedicated to indigenous religious practices which include Voodoo, the traditional religion that is practiced by majority of Benin's people.
