Cairo - Arabstoday
A satirical book, Incomplete Revolution tracks the Egyptian revolution through three stages, the first starting before 25 January which the author titles \"Pre-Revolution Story\". This section is focused around events which occurred one and a half years before the January 25 Revolution, including the 2010 judiciary crisis which saw lawyers strikes following the imprisonment of two attorneys and the 2010 controversial parliamentary elections. The second section of the book tackles the revolution itself, under the title \"May we not come for your condolences, revolution\". It examines the concerns and the fears during and after the 18 days, from the flight of former regime figures and the Mubarak trial until the parliamentary elections and the rise of the Islamists. The last section in the book tackles the Arab Spring revolutions across the region in Tunisia, Libya, Yemen and Syria. The author dedicates the book to the late critic and thinker Ragaa El-Nakkash.
