We all know not to judge a book by its cover and yet, we\'re often drawn to a book because of its cover design. And now in Shanghai, there\'s a contest to rate the most beautiful book in China. Those with the most intriguing covers will get the honor. 350 books from 130 publishing houses nationwide are competing for the title \"The Most Beautiful Book in China\". They will be sifted through by discerning eyes from an international jury composed of 12 book design artists. Cover and content design as well as the quality of the printing will be taken into consideration. The result will be announced next Monday. Twenty books will finally win the title, and compete for \"the most beautiful book in the world\" appraisal to be held in Leipzig, Germany next year.
