The Libyan Red Crescent said on Wednesday it had recovered the bodies of 35 soldiers from a military base seized by Islamists in the eastern city of Benghazi.
"Up to now we have managed to recover 35 bodies. But there are more" in the Bouatni area, where the base and several other barracks belonging to the Libyan army's special forces are located, Red Crescent spokesman Mohamed al-Misrati told AFP.
