French engineering group Alstom said on Sunday that its shares would remain suspended from trading until Wednesday as it mulls its strategy amid rumours it is being pursued by General Electric and Germany's Siemens. "Alstom continues and deepens its strategic reflection and will make a further announcement no later than Wednesday 30 April morning," the company said in a statement, adding that it "has requested that the trading of its shares remains suspended" on Paris' stock exchange in the meantime.
