The relationship between the United States and China is the "most consequential" in the world today, US Secretary of State John Kerry said Tuesday before leaving on a high-profile trip to Beijing.
Ties between the world's two economic powers will "do much to determine the shape of the 21st century," Kerry said, before key meetings in China preparing the way for a visit next week by US President Barack Obama.
