US President Barack Obama flew out of Afghanistan's Bagram Air Base in the early hours of Monday after a four-hour surprise visit to troops, an AFP reporter said. During his brief trip Obama said a decision on troop numbers to remain in Afghanistan after 2014 was imminent and that the war there would "come to a responsible end".
