A Swiss Red Cross worker was killed Thursday by shelling in central Donetsk, the rebel-held city in eastern Ukraine, a rescue worker told AFP at the scene.
AFP saw the man's body lying face down outside a damaged building housing the office of the International Committee of the Red Cross. Andriy Livchenko, a rescue worker at the scene, said the man worked for the ICRC in Geneva.
