The United States is not planning to follow its Gulf partners and move its embassy in Yemen to the southern city of Aden, a top State Department official said Tuesday.
Washington closed its mission in Sanaa earlier this month, and the US official told reporters travelling with top US diplomat John Kerry that ambassador Matthew Tueller would now be based out of an office in the Saudi port of Jeddah.
