As many as 1,120 firms have been expanded or established during June, the Investment Ministry said Saturday. 

Capital of the expanded and new companies amounted to some 4.2 billion pounds, according to a Ministry bulletin.

The bulletin also touched upon a number of agreements that had been signed to develop areas in Upper Egypt.
