Three vessels carrying 124,000 tons of wheat arrived at Alexandria Port on Tuesday.

In statements, Chairman of Alexandria Port Authority Medhat Attiya said the wheat shipments came from Russia and Ukraine, adding all procedures were taken to unload it.

Samples were taken to make sure the wheat is fit for human consumption, he noted.
