As many as 1,241 pilgrims arrived at Safaga Port Wednesday coming from Saudi Arabia after performing Umra (minor hajj) rituals.
Spokesman for the Red Sea Ports Authority Abdel Rahim Moustafa said that there has been coordination with the authorities of Safaga Port to serve the travelers.
The spokesman added that 187 containers of goods left Daba and Safaga ports, while Zaytiyat port received a ship laden with 3,000 tons of butane gas coming from Saudi Yanbu port.
Meanwhile, Adabiya port received a ship carrying 7,000 tons of iron
