A Bahaman ship arrived at Alexandria port on Sunday carrying 1,798 tourists from different nationalities as well as a 800-member crew.
In statements, Alexandria Port Authority spokesman Reda al Ghandour said the ship is coming from Ain Sokhna and is heading to Cyprus.
He added that a tourism program was prepared for the tourists to visit a number of tourist and historic attractions as well as the markets of the coastal city.
Security authorities at the port finalized all procedures for the tourists.
