A vessel coming from Malaysia carrying 19,000 tons of soybeans arrived on Sunday at Alexandria Port.

The shipment was unloaded in silos in preparation for examining it to make sure that it is fit for human consumption, said Spokesman for the Alexandria Port Authority Reda el Ghandour.

The stevedoring operations have increased at the port, the spokesman added.
