Truckloads allowed into Gaza

The Presidential Committee on Goods Entry in Gaza Strip on Thursday affirmed that 400 trucks laden with goods and assistance entered Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian News Agency WAFA.
WAFA quoted the Committee's Chairman Raed Fattouh who said that trucks entered through the Karem Bu Salem land crossing point in southeast Rafah in the southeastern parts of the Strip, laden with goods for the commercial and agricultural sectors, including 150 truckloads of gravel for road network infrastructure.
Fattouh added that quantities of benzene and "solar" were pumped for the transportation sector, in addition to cooking gas and industrial-grade "solar" for electric power generation plant in Gaza.
The Karem Bu Salem land crossing point is the only leeway into Gaza via which humanitarian aid, commodities and fuel are imported.
