Forty-three ships transited the Suez Canal in both directions on Sunday with a total cargo of 2.7 million tons, said Mohab Mamish, the chairman of the Suez Canal Authority.

The south-bound convoy included 20 vessels, while the north-bound convoy included 23 ships.
