As many as 54 ships transited the Suez Canal on Wednesday, carrying a total cargo of 2.609 million tons. The south-bound convoy included 26 ships, carrying about 1.1 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 28 vessels carrying nearly 1.5 million tons.
