Fifty-nine ships transited the Suez Canal on Wednesday, carrying a total cargo of 3,116,000 tons.
The south-bound convoy included 28 ships carrying 1.292 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 31 vessels carrying 1.485 million tons.
