A vessel carrying 63,000 tons of wheat coming from Russia arrived on Saturday at Alexandria Port.

The consignment was unloaded and will undergo checks to ensure its validity for human consumption, said Alexandria Harbor Authority Chief Abdel Qader Darwish.

He said handling of the cargo vessels at the harbor's various quays is regular.
