Alexandria Port received a ship coming from Russia with a total cargo of 65,000 tons of corn, an official with the port said on Friday.

The vessel was unloaded in preparation for checking its validity for human consumption, according to Chairman of Alexandria Port Abdel Qader Darweesh.

He stressed that shipping traffic at the port is going on normally.
