The Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM)

The Abu Dhabi City Municipality (ADM) started in the 2nd Quarter of 2016, the installation of 4, 366 lampposts in Mohammed Bin Zayed City. The project is set for completion in the final Quarter of 2017. 

This project is part of the overall objectives of both the Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport at the Abu Dhabi City Municipality. It testifies the ADM keenness to provide the best infrastructure services. 

The move is part of the comprehensive development drive witnessed by Mohammed Bin Zayed City, and fulfils the community needs in the light of the rising demographic, business & residential growth. The project is also intended to cater to the present and future sustainable development needs, given that Mohammed bin Zayed City sets a unique example of modern rising cities and augers well for a promising future. 

It reflects the civic body's commitment and endeavour to establish modern infrastructure, and provide premium services at par with the world's highest standards. 

The project includes lighting streets of the Mohammed Bin Zayed City including all residential sectors at a total cost of AED76.4 million. It also includes supplying and installing lampposts, LED light fixtures for 4, 366 lampposts along with their concrete bases. 

The Mohammed Bin Zayed City is one of the modern, and promising cities that witnesses continuous growth at the present with great potentials for the future. The city will be of paramount importance to the overall development plans thanks to its strategic location and the giant modern infrastructure capabilities that merit it to play a significant role in ensuring population stability and economic growth. 

This is particularly relevant as the city has become attractive to large numbers of people seeking modern, civilised accommodation as well as investors, businessmen and traders. 

The Mohammed Bin Zayed City stretches over an area of 49.3 square kilometres with more than 125,324 people. It is expected to accommodate approximately 215,000 inhabitants when all districts of the city get occupied.
