Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, ADX, has showcased its latest innovative digital services and applications during GITEX Technology Week 2017. The applications, which include the Investors App, Smart Watch App, and My ADX, are accessible through the Apple and Google Play stores and can be used on either smartphones, tablet computers or smart watches.
Speaking on the occasion, Rashed Al Blooshi, ADX Chief Executive, stressed that the apps come as part of the exchange’s commitment to provide an innovative and diverse range of digital channels in order to continually improve investor experience and access.
Al Blooshi added, "ADX has developed both the Investor and Smart Watch apps to allow investors to update their data, follow ADX listed companies trading activities and keep up with top performers by virtue of instantaneous updates on the most significant deals done on shares of listed companies."
ADX also showcased its ‘My ADX’ app designed to provide employees with quality services via smart devices. Features include annual leave submission, reviewing attendance and departure records, requesting salary certificates, and other requests related to HR and finance.
Commenting on this app, Al Blooshi said, "Launching ‘My ADX’ comes as part of our strategy to provide high quality services for our employees through efficient and innovative technologies. Employee happiness is considered a top priority for ADX, and we always look to provide them with a number of different communication channels to increase efficiency and productivity at work."
ADX’s showcase at GITEX Technology Week 2017 reflects its commitment to participate in the most prominent technology exhibitions, and highlights the importance of digital government within the Abu Dhabi plan’s objectives.
