Cairo - MENA
The Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation said on Sunday that it targets increasing Egypt's exports of agricultural products to 5.5 million tons in 2016.
This is part of a ministerial long-term plan to increase Egypt's exports to over 10 million tons, as well as the number of international markets to 50 countries instead of 25, the ministry said in a statement.
Egypt seeks to provide the Russian market with all necessary agricultural products, instead of Turkey.
