Alexandria Port Authority decided on Friday to close ports of Alexandria and Dekheila due to bad weather conditions.

Acting Chief of Alexandria Harbor General Fathi Taha said the decision was taken to safeguard the navigation movement.

Alexandria is hit by New Year gale, expected to last for four days.
